The person behind Jig
Hi, I’mCristina.
Designer. Marketer.
Always making something.
Always making something.
Here’s a little of my story
Cristina MendozaA little creativity. A lot of heart.
From Spain. At home in Maryland.
Independent by design. Personal by nature.
01 / A new chapter
Madrid.Maryland.
Where it began
Where it’s growing
I’m a designer and marketer from Madrid, Spain, now calling Maryland home.
Spain is where my story started, and moving to the United States opened a whole new chapter—one that eventually gave me the chance to build something of my own.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. Since I was little, I’ve loved making things, trying ideas, and putting my own spin on whatever was in front of me. That feeling never really went away. It became the work I love doing.
A little spark, every day
Still excited
to create.
to create.
02 / The feeling behind the work
And honestly?
I still get excited when a design finally clicks. When a website starts to feel like the person behind the business. When a small adjustment makes a photograph come alive. Those moments make me want to keep creating.
Jig has become a place for all that excitement. Something I get to build, care for, and keep growing—with people who care just as much about what they do.
That’s the good part.
03 / You, me & your next idea
Your project gets
personal attention.Mine.
Working with Jig means working directly with me, Cristina.
From our first conversation to the finishing touches, you’re talking to the person creating your work.
I want to understand what you’re building, what matters to you, and what you’re excited about. Your project becomes something I’m invested in, too. I’ll bring ideas, share honest feedback, and care about the details alongside you.
The best part is getting to that moment when you look at the work and think,
“Yes. That feels like me.”
04 / The things that fill my cup
A little life
beyond the screen.

03
The little thingsSo much to enjoy.
Outside of work, I love fishing on the Chesapeake Bay with my husband, heading back to Spain every summer to see family and friends, and finding joy in the little things.
Even the name Jig is a nod to my love of fishing. It felt right to give this business a name with a little of my life behind it.
A day on the water, time with the people I love, the excitement of making something new—those are the things that make me happy. Jig is very much one of them.
Finding joy in the little things.— Cristina
